About Me

I'm a club and mobile DJ who's traveled throughout the 5 boroughs, Long Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, Upstate and Central regions of New York and Philadelphia.
I am known to most crowds as "The Phenom", as I bring high intensity, professionalism and showmanship at any venue/event and provide a full scale sound system (if necessary). I play on Pioneer CDJ1000 digital turntable/CD decks with Serato Scratch Live and or Virtual DJ in conjunction with laptop computers and external hard drives. I can play on vinyl turntables if requested.
I’m a skilled DJ who can mix, blend, cut, scratch, transform and beat juggle as needed depending on the type of event. I have my own reliable transportation and have full liability insurance, as required by many venues. I have done many types of events and venues including weddings, graduation parties, fundraisers and political events, upscale parties, birthdays, sweet 16's, Bar Mitzvahs, clubs, bars, lounges, radio shows and more. I serve individual direct clients and various entertainment and DJ companies along with event planners.

Known to all as the lone female DJ from Spectacular Sounds! Entertainment, she has gone from strength to strength picking up many accolades along the way. Her professionalism, talent, burning ambition, regional status and determination have resulted in Tara becoming one of NYCs finest leading urban DJs... Apart from mixing it up in a guest DJ spot on local and internet radio stations such as The Beat 101.7 in Suffolk and T-Net (a progressive political Internet station), SupaStar DJ Tara has played alongside and with many of the NYC's best and leading radio and club DJ's which include: DJ Lightning, DJ Kylie Fly, DJ Finesse, DJ Fly-One and Carlito the Wonder Boy. Her ability to really hype a crowd with her fresh and distinctive selection of tunes has made SupaStar DJ Tara into a prime choice for weddings, launch parties, political fundraisers, private parties and special events. She has successfully completed some of the biggest events in recent years. Some of these events include Radio 1: Club Tour, DL21C Winter Bash, a political fundraiser in Southampton for Presidential candidate with Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, the annual NY state Black, Puerto-Rican and Asian Legislative Caucus welcoming reception, NYS Young Democrats Annual Holiday Party, The Professionals Network Organization N.Y.S.E. launch party, among others.
