Maybach Music Group releases the video for what is sure to be one of the highlights of “God Forgives, I Don’t.” If you’ve heard the Jake One-produced track already, you know Hov steals the show, but Dre’s verse has grown on me. (I wonder who wrote it?) Hmmmm….
Okay, it’s not a music video in the traditional sense. MMG labels it as a “Visual Piece.” It is a compilation of images and video clips from the 3 rappers (kings?) over the years. For Dre and Jay, who’ve had longer careers, you get to see some classic footage, like Dre and Snoop’s classic Source Award performance. I must say it is very well done and worth checking out.
