Lauryn Hill Surprises Philly Crowd at July 4th Concert

My ex-imaginary-girlfriend, the wonderful and sometimes reclusive Lauryn Hill, made a surprise appearance at the (deep breath) The Roots Presents Philly’s Fourth of July Jam. The concert included Common, Darryl Hall (of “And Oates” fame), Queen Latifah, and Joe Jonas. But the surprise of the night was Ms. Hill, who did a 1/2 hour set of Fugees hits as well as her own, including a six minute jam-session of “Lost Ones”, backed by the legendary Roots crew, of course. There was a livestream of the entire show, but fortunately some plucky You-Tuber captured it for your enjoyment. So please check out Lauryn’s set below, before it gets taken down.
